Our Client is looking for a Network Security Engineer to work as part of a team to manage security infrastructure (Firewall, IDS, IPS, SEIM, and Web Filtering).

CANDIDATE CAN WORK OUT OF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING OFFICES - Wilton, CT, Portland, ME or Portsmouth, NH.

Duties

Manage the security infrastructure i.e. Firewall, IDS, IPS, SEIM and Web Filtering.
Manage threats, vulnerabilities and perform in depth log analysis.
Consult with internal business units regarding security infrastructure along with managing security vendors.
Design and implement network security controls that ensure security risks are properly addressed.
Conduct network scans, reviews and assessments to ensure controls are operating as expected.
Maintain awareness of existing and emerging threats, assessing risks, and modifying control structure as required.
Provide support and assistance during internal and external audits.
Provide forensics expertise all levels the application stack.

Requirements:

Strong experience maintaining security infrastructure technology and certification with a major Firewall, IPS, or SEIM system.
Experience in security risk assessment and implementation.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline.
